For the first time in the history of Nepal, King Gyanendera was not able to perform religious ritual in famous Krishna temple.
Folklore and traditions treat King as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
He is treated as God in many households of Nepal.
However, this time, he was not allowed to enjoy this special priveldge.
Ironically, Prime minister G.P. Koiralla performed special puja in his place.
King has become a detestable figure as maoist dailies often berate his past actions.
His son and the crown prince, Paras has been accused of indulging in terrorist activities with active support from the King.
Only coming days can tell if Gyandera will remain King or a humble nepalese citizen!
